Wilna is a neo-expressionistic-painter-turned-scrapbooker who has spent years applying her background in fine arts to her passion for preserving memories. A popular online teacher, she has honed the fine art of balancing her logical and organized side with her free-spirited, expressive side. And she definitely knows how to have fun along the way!
Hi, my name is Wilna and I love to blog and make pretty things. And Coffee. I have been in the scrapbooking Industry for almost 11 years and the reason why I said yes to Immigrate to Canada (From South Africa) was to enter the scrapbooking Hall of Fame. I won the HOF in 2006 with awesome girls like Elizabeth Dillow, Amanda Probst, Laura Kurz, Nisa Fiin, Tiffany Tillman and Vicky Boutin. (To mention only a few). That’s where the real journey started for me. I was fortunate enough to win the Making Memories Idols contest too and landed a design contract with them for 6 years. I loved that company. I worked for Jenni Bowlin and October Afternoon, but only when Kristina Nicolai-White invited me to join the Two Peas In A Bucket team, I really felt I was home for the first time. I am so thankful for my time with 2peas and loved every second of it. I came into my own as a designer there and put together 2 highly popular workshops Art Class 1 & 2. But all good things came to an end and 2peas closed down in July of 2014. That was when Stacy Julian invited me to do a workshop for Big Picture Classes called Art & Design. Since then I have worked on more Online Workshops.
I am also a product designer and love to design cut files that I sell in my little shop called iHeartStudio.
I am also a photographer that does Wedding Photography and lifestyle Photography. My Photography business is called iHeartPhoto.
I live in Canada with my 3 teenage girls. We have 2 miniature schnauzers that I love fiercely and their names are Mac and Abby. I also call them Paxil and Prozac as you can see in this page I made about them.
